Payment Options

The Healing Arts Center Financial Policy

It is the policy of this office that all services rendered are charged directly to you, the patient, and that ultimately, the patient is responsible for all services, including those not reimbursed by third party payors.All payments are expected at the time of services.At no time, shall a patient accumulate over a $100 balance. Balances over 30 days may be subject to additional fees.If a patient is needing a treatment and has a balance over $100, they are expected to pay for services in full until the remaining balance is continuing to be paid down.

Acupuncture and NET are not covered by any insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid).

The Ionization(detoxification) is not covered by any insurance plans. (Including Medicare and Medicaid). Any supplements or homeopathic remedies are the patient's responsibility and payment is expected at the time supplements are picked up.

Appointment Policy

The frequency of your visits is of paramount importance to your results, so we ask that each patient assume the responsibility of strict adherence to the appointments set up for you as it is designed for optimum results.If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact the office as soon as possible.We will ask that you know when you can reschedule your missed appointment, so please have that information available when you call. When arriving for your appointment, please make sure your cell phones are turned off prior to your visit.

Insurance Policy

The courtesy of insurance assignment begins when our office receives a copy of your insurance card.You are also responsible to notify the office of any changes in insurance coverage immediately.If there were changes that needed to be made and we were not notified, you may be responsible for the bill.

If your insurance requires a pre-authorization for any services, please make us aware of this also as you may be liable if this was required and not obtained.You are considered to be a "cash" patient until we "verify" your coverage to determine the extent of benefits under your policy.

Deductibles, Co-Payments or Co-insurances are expected at each visit.If you are scheduled for more than 2 visits in the same week, you may pay all co-payments at the end of your last visit for the week.This office does not promise that an insurance company will reimburse you for the usual and customary charges submitted by this office, nor will we enter into a dispute with any insurance company over the amount of reimbursement.We will make phone calls on your behalf for reimbursement, however, you may need to call your insurance company directly to help in collecting for services rendered.

Returned Checks

There will be a $25 fee assessed on all checks returned from your bank.


We will file your claims for you.Be sure to give a copy of your Medicare card and any secondary or supplement card to the front desk person. You may be responsible for the remaining balance if we do not accept your secondary insurance.You will be responsible for your calendar year deductible of $135.00. X-rays ARE NOT coveredby Medicare.Physical Exams ARE NOT covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
